* WHAT…Flooding and flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall are
possible.
* WHERE…A portion of northeast Iowa, including the following
counties, Buchanan and Delaware.
* WHEN…From late tonight through Saturday evening.
* IMPACTS…Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– Showers and storms are expected to develop late tonight and last
into Saturday. These storms will be capable of rainfall rates
around 1 inch per hour. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are
possible in the hardest hit areas through Saturday evening.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
