Multiple days of heavy rain fall has led to saturated soil across
much of the Tri-State area. Additional rainfall is expected tonight
through Thursday morning and could lead to flash flooding.
* WHAT…Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE…A portion of west central Kansas, including the following
counties, Greeley and Wichita.
* WHEN…Through Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS…Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Low-water crossings may be flooded. Extensive street flooding and
flooding of creeks and rivers are possible. Area creeks and
streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
Instructions
You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
