* WHAT…Multiple rounds of heavy rain with an increasing potential
for flooding.

* WHERE…Portions of central, east central, and northeast Kansas,
including the following counties, in central Kansas, Dickinson. In
east central Kansas, Geary, Morris, Shawnee and Wabaunsee. In
northeast Kansas, Jefferson.

* WHEN…Through Thursday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– A slow moving, moisture laden system is expected to bring
widespread rainfall of two to four inches, with locally higher
amounts of around six inches.

Instructions

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
