* WHAT…Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE…Portions of Kansas, including the following areas, Johnson
KS, Leavenworth and Wyandotte and Missouri, including the following
areas, Buchanan, Caldwell, Carroll, Cass, Clay, Clinton, Daviess,
De Kalb, Grundy, Henry, Jackson, Johnson MO, Lafayette, Livingston,
Platte and Ray.
* WHEN…From 8 PM CDT this evening through Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS…Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– Widespread rainfall amounts between 1 to 2 inches are possible
Wednesday evening and into the overnight hours, with localized
areas potentially receiving 3 inches or more, which could lead to
flash flooding across the area.
