* WHAT…Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE…Much of central Iowa.

* WHEN…Through Friday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– Several rounds of rain have occurred this week with more rain
to come from this morning through Friday morning. Storms this
morning and again tonight into Friday morning have the
potential to repeat over the same area leading to rain
quickly accumulating as well as high rain rates of 1 to 2
inches per hour.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
