* WHAT…Temperatures around 105 expected, with up to 107 in the El
Paso Lower Valley.

* WHERE…In Texas, the El Paso Metro Area, the Lower Valley through
Hudspeth County, and the Dell Valley. In New Mexico, the Mesilla
and Hatch Valleys, and the western Tularosa Basin.

* WHEN…From 11 AM to 7 PM MDT Friday.

* IMPACTS…Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses.

Instructions

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

To reduce risk during outdoor work, schedule frequent rest breaks in
shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat
should be moved to a cool and shaded location.
