GUSTY WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR BUTTE COUNTY AREA, NORTHERN
CAMPBELL, SOUTHERN CAMPBELL, CROOK COUNTY PLAINS, WESTON COUNTY
PLAINS, AND WYOMING BLACK HILLS…

The National Weather Service in Rapid City SD has issued a Red Flag
Warning.

* AFFECTED AREA…Fire Weather Zones 314, 315, 316, 317, 318, and
327.

* TIMING…From 11 AM to 8 PM MDT Friday.

* WINDS…South winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY…Relative Humidity as low as 8 percent.

* IMPACTS…Any fires that develop will spread rapidly. Outdoor
burning is not recommended.

either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong winds,
low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute to
extreme fire behavior.
