* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Southwestern Grant County in south central North Dakota…
Eastern Adams County in southwestern North Dakota…
Southeastern Hettinger County in southwestern North Dakota…

* Until 845 PM MDT.

* At 754 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 13 miles northeast
of Haynes, or 16 miles northeast of Hettinger, moving northeast at
40 mph.

THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR ELGIN AND NEW LEIPZIG.

HAZARD…80 mph wind gusts and small hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect
considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles.
Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.

* Locations impacted include…
Elgin, New Leipzig, Burt and Bentley.

Instructions

Seek shelter now inside an interior room on the lowest floor of a
well-built structure. This storm is capable of producing widespread
destructive winds.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM MDT Saturday for
portions of south central and southwest North Dakota.
