The National Weather Service in Omaha has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Northern Antelope County in northeastern Nebraska…
Southwestern Knox County in northeastern Nebraska…

* Until 1230 AM CDT.

* At 1209 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles north of
Orchard, or 21 miles northwest of Neligh, moving southeast at 20
mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northern Antelope and southwestern Knox Counties, including the
following locations… Royal, Brunswick, Grove Lake Recreation
Area, and Ashfall Fossil Beds State Historical Park.

Instructions

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
