* Until 715 PM MDT.

* At 621 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Van Tassell,
or 23 miles east of Lusk, moving southeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD…Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Harrison, Van Tassell, Agate Fossil Beds National Monument, Soldier
Creek Campground, Flahertys Corner, Fort Robinson State Park, Box
Butte Reservoir, Marsland, and Belmont.

Instructions

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

This thunderstorm is capable of producing all types of severe weather
including extremely large hail, destructive straight line winds and
tornadoes. Move quickly to a safe shelter such as an interior room, a
bathroom, closet or basement.
