* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Northeastern Boyd County in north central Nebraska…

* Until 630 PM CDT.

* At 546 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Spencer,
moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD…Tennis ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Spencer, Butte, Lynch, Gross, Bristow, Anoka, and Monowi.

This includes the following highways…
Highway 281 between mile markers 211 and 223.
Highway 12 between mile markers 112 and 130, and between mile
markers 142 and 143.

Instructions

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

This is a dangerous storm. Prepare immediately for large destructive
hail capable of producing significant damage. People outside should
move to shelter inside a strong building, and stay away from windows.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
