* At 251 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Portland, or
8 miles southeast of Mason City, moving southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Mason City, Nora Springs, Sheffield, Greene, Rockwell, Mason City
Municipal Airport, Clear Lake, Ventura, Swaledale, Aredale,
Dougherty, Burchinal, Portland, Clear Lake State Park, and McIntosh
