* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Northwestern Nacogdoches County in eastern Texas…
Southern Cherokee County in northeastern Texas…

* Until 615 PM CDT.

* At 513 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located just west of Rusk,
moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Rusk, Alto, Wells, Morrill, Forest, Sacul, Douglass, Maydelle and
Linwood.

Instructions

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning is one of nature’s leading killers. Remember, if you can
hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

Wind damage with this storm will occur before any rain or lightning.
Do not wait for the sound of thunder before taking cover. Seek
shelter immediately inside a sturdy structure and stay away from
windows.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
