* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Northern Cherokee County in northeastern Texas…
Southwestern Rusk County in northeastern Texas…
Southeastern Smith County in northeastern Texas…

* Until 145 PM CDT.

* At 100 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles southwest
of Turnertown, or 13 miles west of Henderson, moving south at 15
mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Jacksonville, Troup, New Salem, Mixon, Mount Selman, New
Summerfield, Gallatin, Concord and Glenfawn.

Instructions

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
