* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
North central Cherry County in north central Nebraska…

* Until 1045 PM CDT.

* At 958 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles east of
Merriman, or 23 miles southeast of Martin, moving southeast at 30
mph.

THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR NORTHWEST CHERRY COUNTY.

HAZARD…80 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect
considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles.
Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.

* Locations impacted include…
Medicine Lake, Indian Hill, Schoolhouse Lake, Eli, and Steer Creek
Campground.

This includes Highway 20 between mile markers 140 and 154.
