* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Lincoln County in southwestern Nebraska…
Southwestern Custer County in central Nebraska…

* Until 900 PM CDT.

* At 819 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 10 miles southwest of Arnold to near Maxwell to near
Sutherland Reservoir State Recreation Area, moving south at 55 mph.

THESE ARE DESTRUCTIVE STORMS FOR NORTH PLATTE.

HAZARD…90 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris
may be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile
homes will be heavily damaged or destroyed. Homes and
businesses will have substantial roof and window damage.
Expect extensive tree damage and power outages.

* Locations impacted include…
North Platte, Sutherland, Hershey, Brady, Maxwell, Wellfleet, Lake
Maloney State Recreation Area, North Platte Airport, Keith,
Cottonwood Canyon State Wildlife Management Area, Etna, Hansen
Memorial Reserve State Wildlife Management Area, Jeffrey Canyon
State Wildlife Management Area, O’Fallons, Birdwood, Somerset, and
Vroman.

This includes the following highways…
Highway 97 between mile markers 1 and 4.
Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 160 and 207.
Highway 83 between mile markers 52 and 94.
