The National Weather Service in Rapid City has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Central Fall River County in southwestern South Dakota…

* Until 545 PM MDT.

* At 510 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Cottonwood
Springs Dam, or 7 miles west of Hot Springs, moving south at 20
MPH.

HAZARD…Half dollar size hail. Multiple trained weather spotters
have confirmed quarter size hail with this storm near
Argyle.

SOURCE…Trained spotters reported.

IMPACT…Damage to vehicles is expected.

* Locations impacted include…
Hot Springs, Cascade Falls, Angostura Reservoir, Cottonwood Springs
Dam and Cold Brook Reservoir.

windows. This storm has produced large hail.
