* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Grant County in west central Nebraska…
Hooker County in west central Nebraska…

* Until 615 PM MDT.

* At 524 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 11 miles northwest of Mullen to 6 miles northeast of
Whitman to 11 miles north of Hyannis, moving south at 40 mph.

HAZARD…Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Mullen, Hyannis, Whitman, Carr Lake, Duluth, Cogill Lake, East Cody
Lake, Green Lake, Highway 97 crossing the Dismal River, Pratt Lake,
Spring Valley Lake, Hecla, Kelso, Weir, and Shimmons Lake.

This includes the following highways…
Highway 2 between mile markers 142 and 194.
Highway 61 between mile markers 138 and 165.
Highway 97 between mile markers 45 and 70.
