Jones County in central South Dakota…
Southern Stanley County in central South Dakota…
Northwestern Hughes County in central South Dakota…
Northwestern Lyman County in central South Dakota…

* Until 230 AM CDT.

* At 150 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Wendte to 9 miles south of Van Metre, moving
northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Trained weather spotters. Severe wind gusts of 61 and 58
mph were recorded in Midland and Belvidere respectively.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

Pierre and Lake Sharpe around 210 AM CDT.
