* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Central Perkins County in northwestern South Dakota…

* Until 815 PM MDT.

* At 710 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles southwest
of Lodgepole, or 32 miles southwest of Lemmon, moving southeast at
35 mph.

HAZARD…Two inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Bison, Meadow, Chance, Lodgepole, Date, Prairie City, Owen Lake and
southwestern Shadehill Reservoir.

This dangerous storm is capable of producing large hail driven by
