* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Perkins County in northwestern South Dakota…

* Until 845 PM MDT.

* At 742 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
near Lodgepole to near Zeona, or along a line from 28 miles west of
Lemmon to 41 miles west of Faith, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Lemmon, Bison, Meadow, Chance, Lodgepole, Sorum, White Butte, Date,
Prairie City, Shadehill, Zeona, Owen Lake and Shadehill Reservoir.

Instructions

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds and
large hail.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM MDT for a portion of
northwest South Dakota.
