The National Weather Service in the Twin Cities has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Southeastern Todd County in central Minnesota…

* Until 430 PM CDT.

* At 347 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Long Prairie,
or 24 miles west of Little Falls, moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Trained spotters reported.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Long Prairie, Round Prairie, Long Prairie Airport, Grey Eagle,
Burtrum, Swanville, North Shore and Birch Lakes State Forest.

Instructions

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and has
produced large hail.
