The National Weather Service in Rapid City has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Southeastern Tripp County in south central South Dakota…

* Until 215 AM CDT.

* At 129 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles south of
Wewela, or 32 miles south of Winner, moving northeast at 70 mph.

HAZARD…70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include…
Millboro, Wewela, Dog Ear Lake and Colome.

Instructions

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
widespread damaging winds and large hail.
