Details

At 507 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Agency to near Dearborn to near Easton.
Movement was southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Leavenworth, Smithville, Platte City, Plattsburg, Weston, Gower,
Kansas City Intl Arpt, Agency, Trimble, Edgerton, Dearborn, Camden
Point, Tracy, Farley, Turney, Ridgely, Iatan, Faucett, Stillings, and
Bean Lake.

This includes the following highways…
Interstate 29 between mile markers 14 and 42.
Interstate 435 between mile markers 27 and 34.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for
northeastern Kansas…and northwestern Missouri.
