Details

At 751 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Brooklyn to 9 miles southeast of Pella.
Movement was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Strong winds could break small tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Marengo, Sigourney, Williamsburg, Belle Plaine, Walford, North
English, Victor, Hedrick, Blairstown, What Cheer, Norway, Delta,
Ladora, Keswick, South English, Parnell, Millersburg, Luzerne,
Hayesville, and Amana.

This includes Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 205 and 225.

Instructions

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring and may lead to localized flooding.
Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
