Details

At 527 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Lake Whitney, or 14 miles southwest of Hillsboro, moving north at 30
mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Whitney, Itasca, Laguna Park, Blum, Covington, Lake Whitney, Aquilla
Lake, Lake Whitney State Park, Lakewood Harbor, Aquilla, Mayfield,
Osceola, Woodbury, and Peoria.

This includes Interstate 35W between mile markers 8 and 9.
