Details

At 447 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking the leading edge of winds
from strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Fort Sill
to 4 miles southeast of Medicine Park. Movement was northeast at 40
mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Apache, Medicine Park, Fort Sill, Meers, Lake Ellsworth, Lake
Lawtonka, Boone, southeastern Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge,
Mount Scott, and The Visitor Center.

Instructions

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
these storms pass.
