Special Weather Statement issued August 7 at 4:46PM CDT by NWS Tulsa OK

Details

At 446 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms along a
line extending from 6 miles south of Heavener to 5 miles east of Big
Cedar to 6 miles southwest of Mountain Fork. Movement was northeast
at 10 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow
around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation
is possible.

These storms will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern Le
Flore County.
