Details

At 502 PM CDT/402 PM MDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from Enders Reservoir State
Recreation Area to near Palisade. Movement was east at 15 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Imperial, Hayes Center, Wauneta, Enders, Enders Reservoir State
Recreation Area, Hamlet, Center Dam Campground, Area A Campground,
and Church Grove Campground.

This includes Highway 61 between mile markers 25 and 30.

Instructions

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in North Platte.
