Details
At 1124 PM MDT/1224 AM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong
thunderstorm 11 miles east of Bonny Reservoir, moving northeast at 25
mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 55 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern
Cheyenne and northwestern Sherman Counties in northwestern Kansas.
Instructions
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
