Details
At 446 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles northwest of Chadron Municipal Airport, or 14 miles northwest
of Chadron, moving southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Chadron, Chadron Municipal Airport, Chadron State Park, Dawes County
Fairgrounds, and Chadron State Park Campground.
Instructions
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
