Details

At 217 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Lathrop, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. Gusty winds may
occur away from the main precipitation area along the gust
front.

SOURCE…Law enforcement.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Excelsior Springs, Cameron, Smithville, Kearney, Lawson, Plattsburg,
Lathrop, Gower, Stewartsville, Trimble, Polo, Holt, Osborn, Crystal
Lakes, Kingston, Excelsior Estates, Woods Heights, Kidder, Winston,
and Rayville.

This includes the following highways…
Interstate 35 in Missouri between mile markers 22 and 64.
Interstate 435 between mile markers 43 and 45.
