Details

At 717 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5
miles east of Dresden, or 17 miles north of Hoxie, moving south at 10
mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern
Sheridan and southeastern Decatur Counties, including the following
locations… Leoville.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
