Details

At 435 AM CDT /335 AM MDT/, a line of strong thunderstorms was
located from 16 miles west of Alkabo to 9 miles northwest of Grassy
Butte, or from 42 miles west of Crosby to 24 miles south of Watford
City, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Williston, Watford City, Killdeer, Ray, Grenora, Alexander, Dunn
Center, Arnegard, Wildrose, Epping, Alamo, Fortuna, Theodore
Roosevelt National Park North Unit, Bonetrail, Fort Union Trading
Post, Hanks, Grassy Butte, Writing Rock State Historical Site, and
Mandaree.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
