At 440 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
San Jose, or 8 miles southeast of Benavides, moving northwest at 15
mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
San Diego, Benavides, Ben Bolt, Palito Blanco, Rios, San Jose,
Rosita, and Alice Acres.
This includes US Highway 281 between mile markers 678 and 690.
