Details

At 928 PM CDT/828 PM MDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong
thunderstorm 8 miles north of Mullen, moving southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Seneca, Giant Hill, and Kelso.

This includes the following highways…
Highway 2 between mile markers 188 and 201.
Highway 97 between mile markers 69 and 82.

Instructions

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT/1100
PM MDT/ for north central and west central Nebraska.
