Special Weather Statement issued July 7 at 6:07PM MDT by NWS North Platte NE

Details

At 607 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 11 miles southwest of Oshkosh to 6 miles
southwest of Lodgepole. Movement was east at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Chappell, Mount Vernon, and Intersection of Highway 27 and 9 Mile
Road.

This includes Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 78 and
93.
