Details

At 824 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 3 miles north of Gruver to 5 miles east of
Spearman to 16 miles west of Canadian to 4 miles east of Lora.
Movement was east at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Spearman, Canadian, Miami, Gruver, Wolf Creek Park, Lora, Farnsworth,
Waka, Glazier, and Lake Marvin.

Instructions

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
the Panhandle of Texas.
