Details

At 904 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Chambers, or 21 miles south of O’Neill, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Chambers, Knievels Corner, Buffalo Flats, Goose Lake State Wildlife
Management Area, Cumminsville, and Four Corners.

This includes Highway 281 between mile markers 147 and 168.

Instructions

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
north central Nebraska.
