Details
At 635 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13
miles southwest of Atkinson, or 25 miles southeast of Bassett. This
thunderstorm was nearly stationary.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of west central Holt
County.
Instructions
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
north central Nebraska.
