At 607 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Medicine Butte, or 8 miles southwest of Lower Brule, moving northeast
at 25 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
The strong thunderstorm will be near…
Medicine Butte around 610 AM CDT.
Lower Brule, Counselor Creek Boat Access Area, Fort Thompson and
Tailrace Rec Area around 625 AM CDT.
Other locations impacted by this strong thunderstorm include Crow
Creek Reservation.
