Details

At 434 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
west Lake Tawakoni, or 5 miles southeast of Quinlan, moving
southeast at 5 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Wills Point, West Tawakoni, Quinlan, Hawk Cove, Lake Tawakoni State
Park, New Terrell City Lake, Lake Tawakoni, Elmo, and Alsa.

This includes Interstate 20 between mile markers 508 and 510.
