Details

At 822 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from over Taft to 13 miles southeast of
Driscoll, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Corpus Christi, Corpus Christi International Airport, South Texas
Botanical Gardens, Kings Crossing Subdivision, Spohn Hospital
South, Corpus Christi Country Club, Cabaniss Field, La Palmera
Mall, Bay Area Medical Center, Waldron Field, Flour Bluff, Driscoll
Childrens Hospital, Texas A&M University Corpus Christi, Del Mar
College Heritage Campus, Cole Park, Del Mar College Windward
Campus, Downtown Corpus Christi, Clarkwood, Padre Balli Park and
Packery Channel.

This includes the following highways…
Interstate 37 between mile markers 1 and 8. US Highway 181 near mile
marker 648.

Instructions

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
