Details

At 749 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Forney, moving southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

This strong thunderstorm will be near…
Terrell and Talty around 755 PM CDT.
Kaufman around 815 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this storm include Oak Grove, Scurry,
Heartland, Oak Ridge, Post Oak Bend City, and Lawrence.

This includes Interstate 20 between mile markers 486 and 509.

Instructions

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
