At 558 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 4 miles north of Roosevelt to near Friendship.
Movement was south at 5 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include…
Altus, Snyder, Mountain Park, Roosevelt, Friendship, Cooperton, Altus
Air Force Base, Warren, and Tom Steed Reservoir.
Instructions

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
these storms pass.
