Details
At 1128 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 8 miles southwest of Elmore to 11 miles
northwest of Forest City to 5 miles southwest of Glenville. Movement
was southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to around 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Forest City, Northwood, Lake Mills, Manly, Emmons, Rice Lake, Union
Slogh, Buffalo Center, Thompson, Titonka, Fertile, Leland, Kensett,
Lakota, Crystal Lake, Woden, Hanlontown, Rake, Joice, and Ledyard.
This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 203 and 218.
