Details
At 238 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Shullsburg, or 9 miles southwest of Darlington,
moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40-50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Darlington, Shullsburg, Belmont, Benton, New Diggings, Elk Grove,
Gratiot, and Lead Mine.
This includes U.S. Highway 151 between mile markers 23 and 27.
Instructions
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
south central Wisconsin.
