Details

At 902 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles east of Wellfleet, or 11 miles north of Curtis, moving
northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Hansen Memorial Reserve State Wildlife Management Area, Jeffrey
Canyon State Wildlife Management Area, and Cottonwood Canyon State
Wildlife Management Area.

This includes the following highways…
Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 187 and 193.
Highway 83 between mile markers 58 and 62.

southwestern Nebraska.
