Details

At 936 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles northwest of Hayes Center, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Hayes Center, Quick, Bluegill Haven Campground, Marengo, Willow View
Campground, and Hayes Center State Wildlife Management Area.

This includes Highway 83 between mile markers 28 and 45.

Instructions

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
