At 545 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorm
outflow winds along a line extending from 3 miles southwest of
Slaton to 12 miles east of Brownfield. Movement was south at 30 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Lower visibilities with blowing dust.
Locations impacted include…
Slaton, Tahoka, Wilson, and New Home.
